April 23, 2024 -- Throughout his 40-year legal career, Magee Legal, PLLC’s managing member, Anthony J. Magee, has been committed to serving the broader legal community and the people it serves. This commitment includes his support for the invaluable work of the Texas Bar Foundation, of which he is a proud Sustaining Life Fellow.

This year, Anthony is serving once again as Co-Chair of the Foundation’s District 6 (Dallas) Nominating Committee along with Matthew Kolodoski, a partner at Thompson Coe. Recently, Anthony and Matthew had the honor of hosting a reception at the Arts District Mansion in Downtown Dallas, celebrating the Foundation’s work and the generosity of the District 6 Foundation Fellows, including 80 new Fellows inducted this year.

Over the past 57 years, the Texas Bar Foundation has grown to become the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation. Since its inception in 1965, the Foundation has awarded more than $27 million in grants to provide legal services to the underserved, further the administration of justice, promote civics education and enhance ethics within the legal profession throughout Texas and in the Dallas area. One of this year’s grant recipients is DeliverFund, whose Director of Development, Christi Nabors, spoke at the Fellows reception about how the Foundation’s grant has helped in its fight against the scourge of human trafficking by facilitating DeliverFund’s Dallas Police Embedded Human Trafficking Analyst project.
